Joe Doe – MCA Aspirant, Njoro Ward

My name is sample Profile. I am 35 years old and currently serve as the Director of the JoeDoe Foundation — an organization I founded to support vulnerable families through education, health services, and economic empowerment.

Having grown up in Njoro Ward, I’ve witnessed both the potential and the persistent challenges our people face: from struggling schools and youth unemployment to underfunded health facilities. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked at the grassroots level to make a difference .providing bursaries, supporting women in business, and improving access to clean water through my foundation’s programs.

I’m now offering myself to serve as your Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Njoro Ward because I believe leadership must move from promises to action. I want to bring the voice of the people into every budget, policy, and decision that affects us.

Through this platform, I commit to being open, available, and accountable. I believe in practical solutions, not politics as usual , and I’m ready to work with you to build a more dignified, empowered Njoro. Let’s do this together.

My leadership journey began at a young age, serving as a prefect and later a student leader at Njoro Boys High School. Those early responsibilities taught me the value of listening, fairness, and representing others with integrity.

After university, I founded the JoeDoe Foundation, where I currently serve as Director. Through this platform, I’ve led multiple community-based initiatives focused on education, health, and economic empowerment. We've supported over 200 students with bursaries, launched women’s self-help groups, and partnered with health providers to run free clinics and medical camps in underserved areas of Njoro.

In addition to my foundation work, I’ve also collaborated with youth groups, churches, and local administrators to coordinate clean-up drives, mentorship programs, and peace campaigns during election seasons.

My leadership is hands-on, community-driven, and results-oriented. I don’t wait for positions to serve — I step in where change is needed.

My vision for Njoro Ward is to build a united, empowered, and progressive community where every resident has access to opportunities, services, and a dignified quality of life. I see a Njoro where young people are meaningfully engaged, our schools and health centers are well-equipped, and our roads and public infrastructure reflect the value of our people.

I envision a leadership model that is open, inclusive, and fully accountable — where public resources are used transparently and development is driven by the priorities of the people. My goal is to make Njoro a model ward in Nakuru County, known for its active citizen participation, economic vibrancy, and shared progress.

Together, we can move Njoro forward — one project, one voice, one leader at a time.

From the People. For the People
Member of County Assembly(MCA)

Director - John Doe Foundation

Over the past decade, I’ve led several community-driven initiatives through the JoeDoe Foundation, and I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish together with local partners and residents:

📚 Education Support: Provided over 200 bursaries to needy students in Njoro Ward since 2018 — from primary to secondary school level.

💼 Women & Youth Empowerment: Supported the formation of 8 self-help groups and trained over 150 youth and women in entrepreneurship and agribusiness.

🏥 Health Outreach: Coordinated 4 free medical camps in underserved areas of Njoro, serving over 1,000 residents with general checkups, maternal care, and cancer screening.

🧹 Clean-Up Campaigns: Partnered with local youth and churches to organize monthly ward clean-up drives in markets, schools, and estates.

Awards & Recognition

🏅 Community Champion Award – 2022, by Njoro Sub-County Office for outstanding grassroots service.

🏅 Youth Mentor Recognition – 2021, from a local church-based youth organization for leadership and mentorship.

🏅 Citizen Impact Star – 2023, featured in a civic newsletter as one of the “10 Young Leaders to Watch in Nakuru.”

I began my education journey at Ndege Primary School right here in Njoro, where I developed a strong foundation in academics and discipline. I then proceeded to Njoro Boys High School, where I not only excelled in my studies but also served as a student leader — an experience that first sparked my passion for leadership and community service.

After high school, I joined Kenyatta University, where I earned my degree in Community Development. My time at KU opened my eyes to the deeper issues facing our country at the grassroots level and strengthened my desire to become part of real, lasting change.

This academic path — rooted in Njoro and shaped by national exposure — has equipped me with both the local understanding and technical skills needed to serve our ward effectively.
